We don’t have forever to fight for our planet. That’s why we’re so thrilled that these days, politicians and journalists alike are focused on sustainability. Greta’s hard work has meant that the climate emergency is at the top of every agenda.
We’d like to prove that the business and startup community also cares about making the world a more sustainable place. That’s why here at hubraum and Deutsche Telekom, we’re quite literally putting our money where our mouth is and launching the Tech Award: Sustainability in 5G Challenge.
So whether you’re part of a startup, a company, or you’re simply an individual launching your own developed project focused on 5G network sustainability, submit your project for your chance to win the tech award, along with some serious cash prizes (the top three winners will take home 50K between them) and the opportunity to develop a proof of concept or prototype with Deutsche Telekom.
Focus areas include, but are not limited to:
Advanced power saving features, use of distributed renewable energy production, smart infrastructure/facilities, advanced EMF management, efficient energy routing, AI driven load adaptive energy management, new solutions for energy efficient chip sets and/or hardware, new solutions for renewable energy production and energy storage on mobile devices, use of alternative cooling technologies etc.
